Leaders of a Beautiful Struggle (LBS) is hosting a Democratic Candidates for Governor forum on June 2nd in Baltimore, Maryland USA. While this is nice, it, in my opinion, is not truly beneficial to the Black community. While restricting it to only Democrats, it is limiting our collective data base of facts and in its own way is attempting to direct our votes only to the Democratic candidates. We as a people do not have that luxury. We need the help of all who are in a position to assist. LBS should not get caught up in the “one party forever syndrome” and consider all things beneficial to our community and its people.
